In the first quarter of the game it was a fairly equal affair.  But once Jamie Kelly scored Slaithwaite took complete controll and tries came at regular intervals, and they defended well.  A futher three tries from the Sarcens took it in to half time with the score 30-12 to the saracens ahead.

 

After the restart Paige Naylor ran in two tries to keep the Saracens momentum going and with further tries from Oliver Whitaker 2, Ben Dickinson and Jamie Kelly one each the game was out of reach of Lindley even though they kept plugging away but the Saracens defence did well to restrict them to four tries.  This was a excellent game by two very entertaining teams, who are a credit to there relevant coaches.  Final score 64-32 to Slaithwaite Saracens.

The young Saracens took on the Tigers from Castleford, who came out very confident after winning their last 4 games on the trot and with 2 huge forwards in their team.  In a pretty even first half Slaithwaite took an early lead but the game see-sawed from end to end, and by half time the saracens led 24-16.

 

In the 2nd half Ben Dickinson took his tally and a record for one game of scoring a magnificent nine tries and with Oliver Whittaker and Jamie Kelly a brace each other and Thomas England getting on the score sheet, the Tigers had no answer to the Saracens onslaught.  The Saracens went on to win 56 - 36 against a very physical team.
